Cheng Ruan, MD Cheng Ruan is not a typical founder. He is a practicing physician and the founder of the Texas Center for Lifestyle Medicine, where he experienced firsthand the "ceiling" that limits every visionary doctor: your genius does not scale .

After growing his practice to multiple providers, Dr. Ruan realized that traditional EHRs and "out-of-the-box" tools were stifling his unique clinical culture rather than supporting it. He identified that the true bottleneck was the "Twinning Problem"—the inability to replicate his specific clinical decision-making in his staff.

Refusing to accept burnout as the price of success, Dr. Ruan engineered a solution. He developed the "Four Systems of Work" framework, proposing that the future of medicine isn't about better apps, but about Agentic Workflows . He successfully built and deployed his own "Digital Twin" in his clinic, using it to mentor staff, automate documentation, and unlock new revenue streams through complex billing codes.

Now transitioning from clinical practice to lead Synaptik Health full-time, Dr. Ruan is on a mission to help other visionary clinicians secure their legacy. He believes the age of protecting IP via lines of code is over; the future belongs to those who protect and scale their knowledge base.
